If you are reading this there is a good chance you have already hit the big 40 but I came across this interview titled 4 COOL WOMEN MAKING 40 FANTASTIC. Thought I would share a bit ver the next few days

as turning 40 scary, thrilling, both, and why?
"110% thrilling because I realized I never let go of anything I loved since I was a 17-year-old teenager, like fashion magazines, staying up all night, laughing, martinis, traveling, running, and learning. I have completely rejected the idea that I need to ever give up my youthful mindset. I am also probably the longest continuous reader of Seventeen Magazine. If I had to choose to read Vogue OR Teen Vogue, it would be Teen Vogue without hesitation."

If I am in New York and it is a Saturday then I am at the Green Market. Nothing like here in florida. So it is a treat to walk and look at the fresh farm foods. If its Fall then the first thing I am getting is a cider. Cold apple cider and a hot pear cider.
up close and personal
anna and I got up in the wee hours of the morning to see the Prez just down the street. He was only a feet away from us.
deep breath
A vacation is what you take when you can't take anymore of what you are taking. I took a mini vacation.
This is me friday morning heading to a solo weekend in New York. I packed no bags just a toothbrush , clean underwear and my kindle.

Meet Anna- Banana Fo Fanna
Anna is our academic exchange student from Germany. She is in 10th grade and hails from Germany. It's been great having Anna in our home. She always has a big smile for us. We have a lot to learn from each other. Hopefully we will be connected for the rest of our lives.
summertime
We had company this past weekend and I chose champagne and popsicles as the drink of the evening. They were good and fun.
adios
We said goodbye to our summer exchange student. It was a tearful sad day for everyone involved. The day started and ended with tears. I have to say it was an amazing experience for all us.
