In Bangkok we went a bit high end in regard to hotel.  The Chatrium was an awesome home away from home.

one of the views from our balcony, an international school was next door to the hotel

It is always nice to have a kitchen but the food was so insanely cheap there wasn't never a need to eat in.

I was up on the balcony at sunrise every morning.  Even though we were in a large city. I would listen to the roosters crowing from somewhere down below in the city.

The pool was located on the 6th floor deck so you can swim with a river view-very cool

The hotels on the river have complimentary boat service  to and f rom the train station. This was our boat.

I loved this gong.  I hit it every  time we left and entered the room

our shiny beautiful bathroom

Nighttime views from our hotel

The giant ferris wheel is located at  a very nice outdoor shopping mall
