Back from a short weekend in New York. On the culture side I was able to visit the new Whitney Museum which relocated and reopened in the Meatpacking district on May 1 2015. $25 ticket entry fee but on Fridays from 6-9pm pay what you want. So $5 got us into the hottest museum in the city right now. Loved it

Second dose of culture came from the Photo exhibit at Brooklyn Prospect park. The view alone is worth the trip into Brooklyn but the photovillage exhibit was the icing on top. 60 or so containers displaying socially conscious photography.
