M&S afternoon tea

  An unplanned tea can sometimes be the best tea or at least a pleasant surprise.  We went into a Marks & Spencer store for eyeglass cleaner, which led to us going down to the food hall to get the funky flavored potato chips that I love to eat and then somehow ended up sitting down to afternoon tea.  I'll  have to remember this for future trips as my go to place for a good affordable afternoon tea.

As for new afternoon tea destination goal,  I went with the The Halken Bar,  a modern spin on the traditional afternoon tea. Amazing! Spectacular! out of this world!  Everything was so good on a much higher level than anything we've ever had before.  Hart to go back to traditional afternoon tea after this experience.

My goal is to hit at least one new afternoon tea destination on each visit to Great Britain.  Yet, I found myself back at Sketch.

What we ate

We spent a week in Europe eating.  First up.. Fishers  We were in a  coffee shop that I insisted we stop in because it was very cool looking ,  having morning tea. Greg struck up a conversation with the woman sitting next to us and she said we had to go have a seafood lunch at Fishers at the shore.  So off we went.  We managed to find the right bus and adventure down to the shore.  We had a great experience and the food was amazing, melt in your mouth good.
