| If there is one must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it's the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. It is the only landmark we did make an effort visit, we will see the rest next time. Lots of gold shiny stuff :) |

| As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted and given cold tea, a cool towel and those rice cake things. Probably the only food item that I did not like in the entire country. |

| this spa was just off the crazy busy street. You walk in the doors and it is all peace, tranquility and calmness. We came upon it accidentally. We were lost and needed directions. We ended up hanging out for quite awhile and then coming back a few more times afterwards. You kind of forget that the outside world exists. I am hoping to experience more of this when we go to Bali. |

| It is always nice to have a kitchen but the food was so insanely cheap there wasn't never a need to eat in. |

| I was up on the balcony at sunrise every morning. Even though we were in a large city. I would listen to the roosters crowing from somewhere down below in the city. |
