We call this Friday night

Random snaps ( the good and the bad)  from a happy hour get-together that started started with 5 o'clock martinis and ended with 12 am shots.

Scenes from a brunch

We headed down to fort lauderdale for our June brunch at the gourmet burger bar- Rok Burger.  I came for the krispy kreme burger (it did not disappoint) not to mention the free unlimited mimosa's for the ladies,  great food and live DJ.  What more can you ask for on a Sunday morning.

This was the hangover sandwich- appropriately named

Chicken + waffles and with candied bacon and bourbon maple syrup.

Tara and I shared  the krispy kreme burger and it was delicious!!

Sunday Funday

Reggae Sunday takes place every Sunday at wynwood yard in Miami.  Wynwood yard is a really cool setting for lounging and listening to music.  Lots of nooks and corners and even a garden setting to relax and chill.   The mortar and pistil bar makes drinks using the herbs from the garden, how cool is that!  Also fun to hangout with my girl friend Gaia who just happens to work for Kulcha Shok.

Where we slept New York

I have decided to keep a visual record of the places we have slept during our travels.  We never seem to remember half of the places.

The last visit to New York had us at the Affinia Hotel , 371 Seventh Ave, Chelsea.

This hotel is an old building that once housed NYU students. I like to stay in homey neighborhoods, but for this trip this location was perfect because of its proximity to Penn station.  Easily could have moved in and stayed forever.
