Vagabon--London wine bar

We stepped into this little wine bar because it looked warm and cozy.  Indeed it was, we had a nice conversation with the people sharing our table, some very tasty wine and the staff was very helpful in helping us pick out wines to try.  Vagabond wines

Sunday Funday

Tara hosted our End of Summer Sunset Soiree.  Okay, I know summer isn't over for us but we like to pretend.   We filled our tummies with a great variety of wonderful foods and then took our cocktails up to the roof for the sunset.

Yeah, This happened, super fun. I am glad I have equally goofy friends that love this.

September brunch...

Brought us to Kapow/Dubliner  in Boca's Mizner Park.  One side is Irish pub and the other is Asian noodle bar.  It was insanely hot outside but we still managed to eat and drink ourselves full.

Deep reading, decisions to be made

Postcards

Vesuvio bakery on Spring street in SOHO  is an iconic bakery storefront is an iconic New York image.  Vesuvio  opened in 1920 and has been my go to for chocolate chip cookies for years.  Every time I go home I go for my cookie fix hoping that the store has not been replaced with an H&M or Old Navy.

Directly across the street is the ever so hip and cool Joe & the
Juice. A bit of modern and the old.  I washed the cookie down with a healthy juice. The best of two worlds.
