We had the biggest laugh over this leaf

so we are out with friends on Friday night. As my friend  is eating she finds this big leaf with the stem still on it in her salad. WTF!! it is like a leaf that just fell out of a tree and landed in her plate.  A TREE IN CANADA!!

It was sudden and unexpected

Our pet pumpkin "charlie" died on Friday.  We came home to a really foul odor in the house and
couldn't find the source.  Upon further inspection the next morning we found that "charlie" was leaking some pretty stinky  yucky stuff from his underside. We couldn't save him. We were heartbroken.  Charlie just turned one and we loved him.

Okay,  not such a big deal for MO YADA but a huge big deal for ANOU. " French do not wear bright colors" ya know.  To think I almost sent those sweaters to the thrift store last week.

I have some type of obsession with all things glitter and sparkly. Doesn't matter what it is.  Every year about this time the sparkly stuff starts showing up on the shopping sites and blogs.  Every year I am determined to buy a pair of sparkly shoes, a sparkly top, a sparkly dress and the list goes on.  Why?? I dunno.  I have giant size feet and would probably feel really dumb wearing them out in public but here is the first item on my 2013 glitter/sparkle wish list.

Friday morning of a short work week.  hopefully the hours at work will fly by and it will be 5 o'clock in a blink of an eye.   I am sitting at my table early this morning getting my Zen on.  I have the entire house to myself, even the dog is gone.  Can I get an Amen!
