THE GRAND PALACE IN BANGKOK

If there is one must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it's the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government.  It is the only landmark we did make an effort visit, we will see the rest next time.  Lots of gold shiny stuff :)

this spa was just off the crazy busy street.  You walk in the doors and it is all peace, tranquility and calmness. We came upon it accidentally.  We were lost and needed directions.  We ended up hanging out for quite awhile and then coming back a few more times afterwards.  You kind of forget that the outside world exists.   I am hoping to experience more of this when we go to Bali.

we were tortured on this very floor.  In a good way..kind of
