Van Gogh..

This Saturday I participated in a Wine and Canvas class with my meet up group friends. The artists instruct you step by step through re-creating the featured painting of the day. While you are doing this you get to eat and drink. .  My masterpiece wasn't quite a masterpiece but we had a lot of fun.

Our featured painting of the day was called the "moonlight sail"

and then there was mo.

Mo was our surprise child, she was only supposed to stay for three- six weeks but once we had her we couldn't let her go.

Not because she cooks excellent thai food ( she does)  but do you see that smile??? Its ALWAYS there with the  attitude that goes with a smile like that.. she could be the poster child for THAILAND, which is Known as the land of smiles.  Funny, smart,kind,  yep she was a keeper.

who is the fairest of them all?

We saw Maleficent last night.  Angelina did a great job in the role, actually to good of a job,the movie and the other actors paled in comparison, but I enjoyed seeing a new version of snow white, it was fun .  She had the most amazing red/ glitter lips.    

 Anou's departing gift to us was a box of Macaron's.   I wasn't quite sure how I felt about these little french delights that have become so popular in America these last few years.  But after sampling more than my share of them,  I have seen the light!!!!  There is no going back.
