Sunday brunch at the Avocado Grill in West Palm.  This has  been on the brunch list for a long time and it didn't disappoint.  

This was mine- it may not look good but it was amazingly good.  Duck confit eggs benedict-  braised kale, pineapple marmalade,  duck confit, blackberry hollandaise.

Bringing back the afternoon tea, we missed it and started to start over again and revisit all of favorites within the next year or so.  Starting off with Tealicious in Delray Beach.  This tea comes with cocktails, everything was very good and we left with very full bellies!  

winter garden -

I saw this last year and didn't have time to go and decided that we were definitely going to go check it out the next time we were in the city.  Doing this just thrilled us to death.  Not sure why but it did.  It wasn't super cold out but we did put on the coats, because how could you not?!?!  You do feel as if you are in the middle of a pine forest and not on a busy NYC street corner.

'Tis the season to cozy up in our glorious Winter Garden at The Standard, East Village. Strip off those extra layers in our heated alpine yurts, or play dress up and put on one of our complimentary furs you can borrow for the night. Once you're settled, sip on a hot spiked drink, then slip into some fondue and/or apple strudel. See our full menu here.
